Unlocking the mysteries with Mercury conjunct Neptune and Venus in Pisces (by Liz Worth)

You might remember that a few weeks ago I mentioned this retrograde period might not be so easy.

Why? Because Mercury in Pisces alone can make us fuzzy-headed and foggy. Mercury retrograde in Pisces can make it even more of a struggle to get your thinking straight.

But maybe that’s the point.

Our society is so concerned with getting from A to B. With making the rules and enforcing them. The demands for absolute perfection are unrealistic. And often misguided.

And when things don’t go the way we think they are supposed to – when someone says that something we don’t expect, or don’t like; when something run late; when a commitment or contract isn’t honoured; when deadlines are missed or meetings go totally off track – it’s so easy to get thrown off by it.

But maybe that the lesson that the universe keeps trying to teach us, but we’re not getting it: There is no schedule. There is no structure. Yet we keep trying to create architecture out of time, love and energy.

And the rules? They don’t matter as much as you think.

Now, I’m not saying that this means we should run wild and wreak havoc. (Well, maybe a little bit of wildness can be fun). I’m saying that it doesn’t hurt to look at where we are being too rigid, too hard on ourselves, or on others, and ask:

“Why do I have this expectation, anyway?”
  • Do things have to be perfect every time?
  • Do things always have to exactly as planned?
  • Do we always have to get our way, no matter what?
  • Does one view, one opinion, or one path really have all the answers?

There are always different ways of doing things and seeing things. And there are so many different ways to be.

Every day in this universe is different, and the things that we may get hung up on today usually have little to no bearing on the direction of this universe a month from now. Or a year from now. And in another lifetime? We can only dream of knowing what that might look like.

Yesterday, on Sunday, March 24, Mercury conjunct Neptune, opening up our creative and spiritual channels. The energy in the air right now can be strange.

Synchronicities and intuitive hits may be more common, but if people are a little less reliable, or if things aren’t making much sense, know that this energy is also cause for confusion.

Allow your mind to engage in magical thinking.  Let your thoughts go to new places. Let yourself see beyond the mundane so that your energy is not misdirected towards the little things that don’t really matter.

On Tuesday, March 26, Venus enters Pisces, heightening our spiritual and creative senses once again. Venus will be in Pisces until April 20, giving us just under a month to continue to hone our spiritual and artistic desires.

  • What do you want to feel more connected to now?
  • What rule are you ready to break free from, if it means having a greater sense of peace and purpose?
  • Where are you ready to part the veils and gain a glimpse of something new and unexpected, something that can’t be found on an itinerary or in a manual?

Like the tarot’s Hierophant, we can hold tight to rules and traditions, but we have to remember that what we see is not all there is. We must consciously work to unlock deeper understandings of our lives and our worlds so that we can lift the veil on our purposes.

“I am building trust in life’s uncertainties.”

Until next time,

Liz xo
