About BodyEnvironmentMind: Returning Home
From lived experience, Kate has come to understand how we feel when our whole system is operating the way it was designed, an inseparable entity: BodyEnvironmentMind.
In your mind’s eye, you have reached the mountain summit. Standing solidly on the Earth’s rock, your vision is sharp in the pure air, your body and mind vibrant yet relaxed in the pristine environment. If your being were a bell, your sound would ring out in a warm, clear tone and you recognize it as unique in the universe, created from your balanced being and contributing to universal harmony. You are filled with joy and abiding peace from simply being alive on this Earth at this moment.
This is how we feel when we experience Returning Home.

About Kate...
Kate is a Reiki Master Teacher and registered member with the Canadian Reiki Association (RT-20-204), a City of Toronto licensed holistic practitioner, and a member of the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT 435735) as well as the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada. Reiki has been a daily practice in Kate’s life since she completed her Usui Reiki I and II training in 1996 with the Australian Reiki Master Valerie Ives. Kate completed her Reiki Master Teacher training (2021) and Reiki/Sekhem Advanced training (2022) with Reiki Master Teacher Stephanie Cookson (RT-06-061) in Toronto.
Kate’s background is in education and environmental studies (PhD, University of Toronto, 2013). She has also trained as a Building Biology Advocate (2022) with the Building Biology Institute (Santa Fe, USA), a direction flowing naturally out of the realization that we often need to heal both ourselves and the spaces in which we live.
