IAC Networking, Outreach, & Professional Development Events

Pending public health restrictions, the IAC Schedules monthly events to facilitate peer networking, professional development, and outreach. If you would like to be involved in any of these offerings, please contact the coordinator directly for that event:
  1. Members Meetings are potluck events held quarterly on the first Sunday of the month from 5-7pm. These are opportunities for all Members to network with each other, share what they are working on, and see how they can support each other in achieving their goals moving forward. It is a potluck (most members are vegetarian). These are currently on hold due to COVID-19, however when weather permits we can host them on the patio. 
  2. We developed a free online community The Inner Arts Hive (see website) for idea exchange, knowledge sharing, and peer support. The platform is available to Members, clients, and the community at large. All Members are moderators on The Inner Arts Hive, and have more opportunity therefore to create a presence on the Hive for their work and unique perspective on health / healing / thriving. If you'd like to offer weekly or monthly contributions, it positions you as a leader and go-to for your field. It also gives potential clients the opportunity to get a feel for you.  Included in The Hive are videos from the How We Heal series, designed to offer support and discussion across a wide range of topics (Anger, Fear, Ancestral Healing, etc). The 2022 How We Heal Series is being considered for continuation in 2022. If you'd like to be considered as a panelist in the Series, please let Melanie know. 
  3. An annual gala is normally held the first weekend of each new year, in January. This is a large event, open to the clients, family members, and colleagues of our Members, and a great opportunity for Members to host the broader community in a celebration of the healing arts, and to build their client base through participating in draws and giveaways.
  4. Though our "Shaping the Future of Healing" Symposium was cancelled in 2020-21, we look forward to continuing with our 3rd Symposium in September of 2022, even if it needs to be online.
  5. The IAC participates in the Taste of the Danforth and other community events organized by the Danforth BIA. All Members are encouraged to attend and participate, as these are excellent outreach opportunities.

Referral Program
Practitioners can get $25 off their the next month if they refer a new member to the Collective, as does the new member for their first month! If a member brings in multiple members in a month, the discount will be laid out over the months until the discount has been met.

We have created a Member Recruitment Package to help each Member communicate the IAC vision, mission, and values and orient peers and colleagues consistently. This package is mailed to you when you join the IAC. If you haven't already received it, please let us know!
