Shaping the Future of Healing:
Understanding Themes, Trends, and Next Steps for 2018 and Beyond

Call for Submissions


The Inner Arts Collective is organizing a conference by and for the healing arts community, to learn from eachother, create more cohesion between disciplines, and improve our individual and collective impact in the communities we serve.

The conference will be held November 17th - 19th, and the theme is Shaping the Future of Healing: Understanding Themes, Trends, and Next Steps for 2018 and Beyond.

We are opening our call for submissions to wellness practitioners, educators, policy makers, funders, change agents, social entrepreneurs, students, artists, and community leaders. Contributors may be selected for keynotes, presentations, workshops, panels, performances, and healing installations.

If you are interested in contributing to the conference and in shaping the discourse around the future of healing, please complete the form below by May 1st, 5pm.

    some options include: performance, installation, presentation, workshop, roundtable discussion, ceremony, etc. If you are comfortable submitting in a range of formats depending on what we have available, please let us know.

Selection Process

Submissions will be selected by the Planning Circle based on their:
  1. relevance,
  2. professionalism,
  3. wow-factor,
  4. usefulness,
  5. potential for influencing the future of healing,
  6. creativity,
  7. clarity,
  8. quality, and
  9. experience of contributor in the area to be shared.

The Conference Planning Circle will contact all entries by May 15th to let them know if they have been accepted. If accepted, a date and time will be proposed, with an invitation to submit more detailed information for the conference website.

Please note, as selected presenters will be an integral component of shaping the discourse for the conference, all presenters will need to register for the conference ($97 fee for presenters, from $197 regular price), and are asked to participate in the Friday evening gala (mingle with attendees and contributors), and attend the full conference.
